I’ve been a pre-workout ab(user) for many years. I love seeing sound and feeling like I can fight the Hulk himself.

There are many different pre-workouts I’ve tried. Some are amazing, and some are a waste of money.

Next on my list is a very popular pre-workout that states to have the most “AMAZING” taste, unlike any other pre-workout.

It made me wonder:

  • Is this taste that good?
  • Is it just tasty, or does it also work?

In this article, I’ll be reviewing the Bucked Up Pre-Workout.

Grab your favorite popcorn machine, pop some kernels, and find out if Bucked Up Pre-Workout is next on your supplement list.

Ingredients in Bucked Up Pre-Workout

The Bucked Up Pre-Workout does not contain any proprietary blend, which means complete transparency in ingredients and quantities.

This is a good thing because we know what we’re consuming.

100 mcg of Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that keeps your blood and nerve cells healthy and helps to create DNA. It’s found in pre-workouts because it may reduce fatigue.

Vitamin B-12 plays a role in metabolism, allowing carbs, proteins, and fats to convert into energy.

6,000 mg of Citrulline Malate 2:1

L-Citrulline is a non-essential amino acid that our bodies transform into another amino acid called L-arginine.

L-Citrulline increases the release of nitric oxide, which helps to widen the blood vessels. This allows more blood flow, oxygen, and nutrients to be transported into the muscles.

It also increases blood flow to the brain, which helps you to feel more focused, energetic, and sharper during training.

A dosage of 6,000 mg is adequate.

2,000 mg of Beta-Alanine

Beta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid that is produced naturally in the body.

It helps to reduce fatigue, which allows for more reps and sets while working out. Over time, this can lead to more muscle growth and strength gains.

It’s also the cause of that itchy or tingling feeling all over your body.

2,000 mg is on the low end of the effective dose.

200 mg of Caffeine Anhydrous

Caffeine anhydrous is extracted from the seed and leaves of coffee plants. “Anhydrous” means that it contains no water.

It’s a highly concentrated caffeine powder, the same as caffeine in coffee. Caffeine provides energy, alertness, focus, etc.

200 mg of AlphaSize (Alpha GPC)

Alpha-Glyceryl Phosphoryl Choline, or Alpha GPC, is mainly used in pre-workouts for increasing mental focus and alertness.

However, it also supports the production of natural human growth hormone and has a role in fat oxidation.

It may boost physical performance and muscle force production.

200 mg is a moderate dose.

100 mg of Taurine

Taurine is an essential amino acid that reduces muscular fatigue. This means you can train at a high intensity for longer.

It has benefits for endurance, strength, and general power.

100 mg is a shallow dose.

100 mg of Himalayan Rock Salt (Trace Minerals)

Himalayan rock salt contains a total of 84 minerals, which help to maintain an electrolyte balance in your body.

This is needed to avoid muscle cramps, properly use nerve and muscle cells, strengthen bones, etc. It also helps keep your body hydrated.

25 mg of AstraGin

AstraGin is a patented ingredient that combines a purified root extract from Panax notoginseng and Astragalus membranaceus.

It supports a healthy gut and is used in supplements to increase the absorption of other nutrients.

In Bucked Up Pre-Workout, it helps with the absorption of all the other ingredients.

25 mg of ActiGin

ActiGin is a patented natural compound created to increase muscle energy during exercise and improve post-exercise recovery.

It does this by increasing glycogen synthesis in muscles. Multiple clinical studies have backed its effectiveness.

Flavors of Bucked Up Pre-Workout

Bucked Up Pre-Workout comes in 5 flavors. The company specifically says that it tastes AMAZING, unlike any other pre-workout.

The following flavors are available:

  • Blue Raz
  • Red Raz
  • Grape
  • Watermelon
  • Strawberry Kiwi

Bucked Up isn’t bragging about their “AMAZING” taste; there’s truth to the matter.

Everybody has different tastebuds, obviously, but I believe most people will love the taste of this pre-workout.

I naturally gravitate towards Red Raz, but it should not be disappointing whatever choice you make.

Experiences with Bucked Up Pre-Workout

I can recap the general experiences with Bucked Up Pre-Workout with a recurring statement: “WORTH IT.

Many find that the pre-workout has the best flavors ever tried.

It gives them fast and lasting energy, focus, and pumps and gets them going in the gym. Also, it dissolves quickly.

Some criticism (not many) is that some “key ingredients” are missing or that it’s not the absolute strongest pre-workout.

Bucked Up Pre-Workout gets an outstanding 4.6 out of 5 stars on Amazon.

Price of Bucked Up Pre-Workout

Price of Bucked Up Pre-Workout

Bucked Up Pre-Workout is priced at 40,10 dollars for 30 servings on Amazon. This makes the price per scoop around $1,34.

I think it’s a pretty high price, which is average among the other “premium” pre-workout supplements I’ve reviewed.

However, it does have a smaller scoop size of 10.21 grams than other pre-workouts.

The criticism that some key ingredients are missing might be valid here (for the price). Also, some components, like Taurine, are underdosed.

Is Bucked Up Pre-Workout Worth It?

After analyzing the ingredients and experiences with Bucked Up Pre-Workout, I can say it’s a good pre-workout but not the best (in my opinion).

I like the delicious flavor, which is nice if that’s important for you.

There are great ingredients like Citrulline, Alpha GPC, and ActiGin. The added AstraGin helps absorb the other ingredients, which is excellent.

However, for the high price, you could have a giant scoop with more, higher-dose ingredients.

I think this pre-workout would be best for people who don’t abuse pre-workout and are not used to very strong pre-workouts.

The pre-workout will surely do its thing and give you energy, focus, and a better pump.

Bucked Up Pre-Workout is also great if you like to have the taste of a cheat day before your workout.

I recommend giving Bucked Up Pre-Workout a shot if you like the benefits.

You can find it on Amazon here.
