There’s only one person who can scream at me voluntarily: Coach Greg Doucette.

On his YouTube channel, he’s been teaching mere mortals (or fellow circles, as he calls us) the ins and outs of fitness and exercising.

“Train Harder Than Last Time” – Coach Greg

Coach Greg is an IFBB Pro Bodybuilder, Master of Kinesiology, Guinness World Record Holder for multiple lifts, Fitness coach, and well-known YouTube personality.

Oh, and not to forget master chef with his famous Ultimate Anabolic Cookbook 2.0 that has completely transformed the dieting game.

With his new venture, HTLT Supplements, he’s set to take over the supplement with high-quality, premium fitness supplements.

The mission is to help you train harder than last time and get the results you’re looking for.

I’ll review the HTLT Supplements to find out if it’s the real deal.

After reviewing Pre-Pump and Hardcore Stim, it became clear that Coach Greg Doucette can add a “mad pre-workout scientist” to his extensive list, but are they all that good?

In this article, I’ll review Pre-Workout 2.0.

Grab your favorite popcorn machine, pop some kernels, and find out if HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 is next on your supplement list.

Practical Information about HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0

Content: HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 comes in a 60-scoop format, lasting 20-60 workouts, depending on how strong you want it to be. The tub weighs 564 grams or 19.89 ounces.

Option: you can buy HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 with or without beta-alanine. If you hate the “tingles” or “itchy” feeling of pre-workout, I suggest you take the option without beta-alanine.

Serving size: one to three scoops of 9.40 grams.

Supply duration: based on the ingredients, I believe two scoops are ideal for most people on average, so you’ll be able to work out harder than last time for at least 30 workouts.

Where to buy it: HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 can be purchased on the HTLT website.

Ingredients in HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0

The HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 does not contain any proprietary blend, which means there are no hidden ingredients, and all quantities are known.

This is a good thing because it’s always best to know what we consume. It’s an extensive list of 13 ingredients; surprisingly, they’re all adequately dosed.

I’ll explain every ingredient in detail below (quantities are for two scoops – 30 servings):

6,000 mg of L-Citrulline

L-Citrulline is a non-essential amino acid that our bodies transform into another amino acid called L-arginine.

L-Citrulline increases the release of nitric oxide, which helps to widen the blood vessels. This allows more blood flow, oxygen, and nutrients to be transported into the muscles.

It also increases blood flow to the brain, which helps you to feel more focused, energetic, and sharper during training.

3,000 mg of Beta-Alanine

Beta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid that is produced naturally in the body. It helps to reduce fatigue, which allows for more reps and sets while working out.

Over time, this can lead to more muscle growth and strength gains. It’s also the cause of that itchy or tingling feeling all over your body.

2,000 mg of Betaine Anhydrous

Betaine increases the amount of water in muscle cells, which results in a better pump during exercise.

Studies ( 2 times 1,25g/day) have also shown increased strength, better endurance, more muscle mass, faster weight loss, and less muscle fatigue.

2,000 mg of Malic Acid

Malic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid commonly found in certain fruits and wines.

It’s added to HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 because it helps with boosting endurance, reducing fatigue, and absorbing other ingredients.

It may also be beneficial for less post-exercise muscle fatigue. It’s most commonly found in pre-workout as “Citrulline Malate,” where Citrulline is combined with Malic Acid for additional benefits.

1,000 mg of Taurine

Taurine is an essential amino acid that reduces muscular fatigue. This means you can train at a high intensity for longer. It has benefits for endurance, strength, and general power.

1,000 mg of Nitrosigine

Nitrosigine boosts nitric oxide and is commonly found in non-stim pre-workouts. It helps widen the blood vessels, which allows more blood flow, oxygen, and nutrients to be transported into the muscles.

It has also been shown to improve post-workout recovery, and we don’t build a tolerance for prolonged usage.

800 mg of L-Tyrosine

L-Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid that can increase happiness, manage stress, improve memory, and helps the body build proteins.

It also helps produce thyroid hormones, melatonin (skin and hair pigment), and enzymes.

It helps produce neurotransmitters like epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine. In simple words, this influences mood and allows nerve cells to communicate.

Both of which are great for working out. It may improve metabolism, but no specific studies prove this.

400 mg of Alpha GPC 50%

Alpha-Glyceryl Phosphoryl Choline, or Alpha GPC, is mainly used in pre-workouts for increasing mental focus and alertness.

However, it also supports the production of natural human growth hormones and has a role in fat oxidation. It may boost physical performance and muscle force production.

200 mg of Caffeine Anhydrous

Caffeine anhydrous is extracted from the seed and leaves of coffee plants. “Anhydrous” means that it contains no water.

It’s a highly concentrated caffeine powder, the same as caffeine in coffee. Caffeine provides energy, alertness, focus, etc.

100 mg of Eria Jarensis Extract

Eria Jarensis Extract comes from an Orchid species found in China and South East Asia. It has become a popular herbal supplement because it’s a powerful stimulant.

It increases the neurotransmitters dopamine and noradrenaline. This can significantly improve concentration, focus, energy, and a better mood.

Eria Jarensis has taken the place of now illegal substances like DMAA.

100 mg of L-Theanine

Theanine helps to regulate the effects of other stimulating ingredients. You feel focused and energetic but not overly (heart attack kind of) stimulated.

It also helps caffeine work longer, so you don’t experience a crash while working out. Very beneficial in HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0.

100 mg of Theobromine

Theobromine is an alkaloid that’s extracted from cacao plants. It can expand your blood vessels, which improves blood circulation and helps to transport more nutrients in your muscles.

It may improve cardiovascular and cognitive performance. Together with polyphenols and caffeine, it can have a thermogenic effect, which increases energy expenditure. This could potentially help in weight loss.

10 mcg of Huperzine A

Huperzine-A works as an acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor, which increases the levels of Acetylcholine in the body.

This increase will improve neurotransmission and both muscular and cognitive performance.

Understandable answer:

In the short term, it can result in better workouts by increasing focus, concentration, and cognitive abilities.

Flavors of HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0

HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 comes in 5 extraordinary flavors in which you can see Coach Greg wanted to create something unique.

The following flavors are available:

  • Sour Rainbow Candy
  • Blue Raspberry
  • Dragon Berry
  • Sour Gummy Worm
  • Grape Candy

I believe all of these flavors are worthwhile, but I gravitate towards the Sour Candy ones and Dragon Berry. If you don’t know dragon berries, it’s an awesome-looking exotic fruit found in mid and south America and Mexico.

In my opinion, the flavors are delicious and make drinking pre-workout significantly more enjoyable.

Is HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 safe?

HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 is safe when sticking to the recommended dose for most healthy adults.

The pre-workout is high in caffeine (if you take 2-3 scoops), which might not be ideal if you’re sensitive to caffeine or anxiety. It can make anxiety worse.

HTLT has a stimulant free-option Pre-Pump, which you can read about here.

Don’t take this pre-workout too late in the day, or you won’t sleep, and watch your caffeine intake from other products.

It’s best to consult a medical provider before taking HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 if you’re taking medication, have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are nursing. Stop taking the supplement two weeks before undergoing surgery.

In some cases, you can have mild side effects like an upset stomach, feeling nauseous, diarrhea, headache, etc. These are typical for about any high-quality pre-workout.

Experiences with HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0

The (small number) of experiences with HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 are from delighted people. Often they describe the pre-workout as their new favorite.

They love the flavors, saying it’s the “best tasting pre-workout” out there.

Also, it gives them a solid increase in energy, and they feel more focused, so they can completely dial into their workout. There’s no typicalcrash,” as is often the case.

They also get great pumps that take their gym sessions to the next level.

Price of HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0

HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 is priced at 54.99 dollars for 60 scoops (20-60 servings).

This makes the price per scoop around $0.92, $1.83 for a two-scoop serving, and $2.75 for a three-scoop serving, respectively.

I think a two-scoop serving will be enough to exceed nearly every competing pre-workout. That being said, HTLT Pre-Workout 2.0 comes at a premium price compared to others.

Everything you need to truly Train Harder Than Last Time.

Greg Doucette can add “mad pre-workout scientist” to his already impressive list of professions.
